I have to do this with every page I would go on........
Which leads me back to the lap top. It crashed thanks to what we think was a virus. But not to worry, I bought the extended warranty six months ago from a national chain store known for it's geek squad. Funny story about this: I took the lap top in, told the geek about the blue screen of death, and all he wanted to do was sell me a program that costed more than the lap top. Of course I showed him my paperwork that showed I had paid for that extended warranty. Geekman told me that it didn't covered my problem. For the first time in my life I was speechless but luckily I found my voice and asked him what it did cover. He told me only damages. I informed him that I was willing to take the laptop outside, smash it in the parking lot and bring it back in. My son stepped in, started talking geek, my laptop was sent out, and now it has a new hard drive and running like new.
I'm glad to have the laptop back, I missed it so much. But during my three weeks
Ah yes facebook, it might have been the cause of all the problems but I just can't help myself. I do hope to be around to all of my favorite blogs and catch up, leaving a comment or two along the way.
That's after I finish my updates on facebook............

9 Nice Things to Say:
I know just how you feel! My computer is my lifeline to the world. Without it, I'm lost.
Great to have you back.
LOL ... I loved talking geek! I know what you mean about getting things done without the laptop, our internet keeps going down and after I've sat a while being bewildered ... I actually get 'stuff' done! :o)
Great to have you back....thought that tooth had you down for the count. :-)
Hi There, I'm back after a few weeks off from blogging. Hope you are doing okay. I have missed all of my blogging friends --but needed that break!
Sorry about your laptop problem--but glad you have it back. Hope school is going well for you so far.
Hugs,
Betsy
Great to catch up with you! Thanks for tracking down my blog and your supportive comments too.
That's sad, that's very sad!
Your description of the discussion with the geek was fantastic. Did you really offer to smash it? Ha ha ha!
I've had internet filters like that before. It's a real drag!
I had that happen to my laptop a couple months ago, and my hubby managed to bring it back to life. I agree, though, that without a computer a lot more gets done around the house! ;)
I can't type on a laptop. Fat fingers apparently...
I'm sorry you lost it tho! I'm glad it's all up and running now the way you want.
On my vacation last month I left my laptop charger behind. Had to only boot up in 5 minute increments so as not to totally drain the sucker down.
