Hubby has a thick, thick beard. So thick that when I cut it for him, I do it on the back porch, letting the hair drop to the ground to be forgotten. The leaves are now off the tree in the backyard which made it possible to see this nest:
You see that white, fuzzy stuff? That's cuttings from hubby's beard.
Guess that bird knew it would keep her babies warm.

My grandmother used to hang her hair from her hairbrush on the clothesline for the birds. I just love the idea of those birds using your husband's beard as nest building materials!
